The invitations to play below could be set up during a free play time or could be used within an inquiry time, a science/social studies block and/or a math workshop. These invitations were written with various content standards in mind, but they are not directed or teacher led. My intention is that students approach the materials in their own way, letting their own ideas and curiosities lead the play.
